Years ago I used to create my comic art on copy paper with ballpoint pens and colored pencils. I used Canary Yellow for Candace’s hair, and once I began coloring digitally I learned to go with the yellowest yellow possible. Eventually I got to worrying that the colors I chose for virtually everything were too bright. But different folks see things different ways, and I wound up drawing this comic to commemorate that. The dialogue of Bob’s friend Carl (and Bob’s subsequent thoughts) in the last panel directly reflects something I was once told regarding my choice of colors.
Imagine if she did dye it red.
